Like humans, birds are bipedal, warm blooded vertebrate animals. Unlike humans, though, birds have colorful feathers, are egg-laying, and most of them are expert at flying. All bird species are warm blooded, egg-laying vertebrate animals, but there is a lot of diversity between the different breeds. Just think of the differences between an ostrich and a hummingbird!
